8th SDC-SLAIHEE Conference 2012 Preliminary Announcement and Call for Abstracts
SLAIHEE is announcing its 8th SDC-SLAIHEE joint annual conference, to be held on Friday, 25th May 2012. The conference theme is “ Fostering positive attitudes to meet challenges in Higher Education”
Abstracts of papers (together with Extended Abstracts) are invited on the above theme. Abstracts should have a 300-word limit and/or 2000 characters (with ‘space’) and be submitted by e-mail to slaihee@gmail.com ; along with accompanying documents ((i)Extended Abstract not exceeding two A4 pages, (ii) Abstract submission Form, (iii)Self-Evaluation Checklist). Abstracts and Extended Abstracts should be received by 1pm on Monday, 20th February 2012.
Registration fee for the Conference is Rs. 500.00 for members and Rs. 1000.00 for non-members (Conference Registration Form attached) to be paid by Friday 30th March, 2012.

Application / Renewal Form, with your membership fee.
Fee for Full Membership is Rs 500.00 and fee for Associate Membership is Rs
300.00
Membership fee can be paid in cash or by an 'account payee' crossed cheque,
drawn in favour of SLAIHEE, to any SLAIHEE Executive Committee Member , treasurer; or
handed over to SDC, University of Colombo.
